Hola chicos!
Today we went to (school/feeding programs name) where we were first shown all of the classes that were in progress at the time. In pairs we sat in classrooms and played and talked to the kids, Andrew and I were in the kindergarten classroom and we played with legos and playdough with the kids. The day before we ate at a chinese restaurant and some kids stayed back because they got sick from the food. a few of the people that worked there then took us on a tour around the neighborhood. It was a more poor neighborhood and we even saw a witch house although we unfortunately didn't go in. When we got back to the school we ate a delicious lunch that they provided for us which included rice, beef, chicken and some good sauce. We left the school and on the way back stopped at a church currently in the final stages of being built. It will be the church we go to on Sunday next. Everyone was pretty tuckered out so we all took naps when we got back. It was a really good nap.
See you in 10 days, Ava Janse
