Donation Policy

EduDeo Ministries is a registered charity (registration #88945-9970-RR0001), whose funding relies largely upon voluntary gifts from supporters who share in its vision and mission. EduDeo is committed to financial integrity and good stewardship.

By Canadian charitable law, EduDeo Ministries is unable to refund donations. Based on the law, a gift transfers ownership from the donor to the charity. Once the transfer is made, the charity’s governing documents oblige it to use the gift in carrying out its charitable purposes.

EduDeo will only issue official receipts for tax purposes for gifts of $20 or more.

EduDeo always strives to be responsible in our management, truthful in promotion, and cost-effective in fundraising. We are committed to the highest standard of stewardship excellence. We will exert every effort to honour the gift designation of preference as stated by the donor.

EduDeo accepts funds designated to particular projects on the understanding that if the project is fully funded, or if the project cannot be carried out for whatever reason, EduDeo maintains the authority and right to reallocate those funds to its other charitable projects and activities.

At least 80 percent of your donation will be used for EduDeo’s program activities. A maximum of 20 percent may be used for administration and fundraising purposes. These expenses ensure EduDeo can carry out its mission, meet board-approved strategic plans, and serve partners and support communities with the utmost efficiency and effectiveness.
