Prior to Departure - Devotions on God's Timing by Keira Uy & Claire Chiang, 02/01/24

On February 1st, 2024, we shared a devotional about how God responds to our prayers, and how His timing is perfect. We contrasted two similar experience with different outcomes to demonstrate how God can say yes, no, or that we should wait on His timing. Through relating our real-life experience of having a surprise snow day, we were able to reflect about God's involvement in our own lives and see His love.

In Ecclesiastes 3:1, it says "there is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens." We believed that this would connect to our devotional because of it's exclamation on how God's timing is truly perfect, and that all is in His control.

This Dominican Republic Trip, we are looking forward to actively noticing God's involvement in our lives, and how His timing and ultimate control brings all things together. We are truly praying for an opportunity to see His work in action through this ministry, and we trust that if it is part of His will, it will happen in His planned time.

May the peoples of the Dominican Republic always trust that God is in control, and that His love is reflected in all that He blesses you with.

Keira Uy and Claire Chiang
