The team has officially been hard at work on the demolition. Claudia has really impressed us with her tenacity, and we've discovered that Justin D is a-ok with heights. I think we can all say that it's been a while since we worked so hard. When that sun comes out, we can feel the thermometer climb.
The Mwase Primary School is slowly being reconstructed with the help of our Zambian partners. While we're ripping the inch-thick stucco off the walls, they have been laying and mortaring bricks back up to the where the roof will sit. While it's hard to see it now, I think we're all looking forward to seeing the students in the classrooms. And there are so many of them! Jerry told us that there are over 900 students there.
Tomorrow, we're going to be ripping the flooring out and praying for shade.
