Day 3

After a long day on the road, we've made it to Lundazi at the CCAP Guesthouse where we'll be bunking for the next 2 weeks. We're all very glad to have arrived, and those of us that didn't sleep in the van are really looking forward to our beds. The journey here was really interesting, taking us through the heart of Zambia on The Great East Road. We saw some pretty great scenery like the mountain shown in the picture. There's a lot of poverty, but also a lot of smiles. We even had a couple of pizzas on the way - and it's a long way! It was about an 11 hour drive.

We went through the plans for the week and talked about the necessity of forgiveness for our devotional time. I think we all feel like we're ready to get to work on the Mwase Primary School bright and early tomorrow morning. We're going to start out with a welcoming ceremony, so we're warming up our vocals and Claudia is helping us with some songs.
