This morning we had a commissioning service in our church. There was laying on of hands by the elder and deacons and a litany was also offered. Prayers on our behalf for safety and that we might be a blessing to those we service in Nicaragua. The Executive Director of EduDeo, Hank DeJong ,was here and offered his thanks for the at least 10 years Smithville Christian Reformed Church has been supportive of this ministry.
Packing is likely been completed by most team members and the excitement is building for this adventure in the minds of the team members.
We will all meet at the church at 8:30am, to begin our trip to this Central American Country. We hope to arrive at the Managua Airport at 10 oclock eastern time.
