Last minute stuff

A few weeks ago, we received a packing list from our leader Nicole. WOW, that's a lot to remember. Good thing we now have a list to help us.

By now the shots and pills are in order. Our thoughts begin to drift to what we will do and who we will meet in Nicaragua. That's kind of exciting.

It will the first time our young people will fly and first time of international travel. It should be interesting to see how they will react to what they see in Nicaragua. The sights and smells of poverty for one thing. It is our hope that this experiance will shape how they view the world after this HANDS team experiance.

For now more mundane things but important! Like to make sure we are all at our church next Monday morning hopefully before 8:30am, with passports in hand and everything needed in their luggage. We hope to leave for the Buffalo/Niagara Aiport from there and arrive in plenty of time for our 1pm flight to Altanta and then on to Managua. Arrival time will be 8pm.

We  are all happy the date is almost here. We hope to blog while we are in country and post a few pictures if possible.
