Hola!
Today was another day of hard work. We seem to be starting to get used to this heat a little bit. It's still quite a change though!
The guys worked hard continuing to dig 4 feet deep for the foundation. They are almost done the digging stage. Michael hit a water line on his first swing of the day while digging, causing water to go everywhere. However, it was quickly fixed! Several deliveries of mix for the concrete came in today. The girls continued doing rebar cages. We still have quite a few to go, but we were much faster today than yesterday. The girls passed time by playing some games while working, such as an animal noise game. We played some soccer and volleyball with a student from the school today.
Lester brought us for a pit stop at a supermarket for some snacks in the evenings. Right now, we are getting ready to play some card games befire bed. Tomorrow, we are going to Mark VanderWees' house after dinner. He lives just a few miles from the Nehemiah Centre.
So far, none of us have gotten sun burned, sick, or hurt! We are very thankful for remaining healthy. Thank you for keeping us in your prayers!
