Day 1

The day has finally arrived! We met at Pearson Airport at 4am. After going through customs and security we had a quick breakfast and boarded the airplane! Our flight was scheduled to leave at 6:15 but after getting de-iced we had some mechanical issues.

We were taken off the plane till further notice. Our flight was rescheduled to leave at 11:30am for Atlanta and we arrived at 2:30pm. Since all plans had been changed we waited till 6:40pm to board our final flight to Punta Cana instead of Santo Domingo. We arrived at 10:40pm which is 11:40pm DR time. We were met at the airport by Neuris(the administrator of COCREF) and then had to travel for 3.5 hours to the mission center in Santo Domingo. Thankfully after a very long and busy travelling day we arrived safely and went straight to sleep at 3:15am.
