Day 3

Wakeup call at 7:00am today! Breakfast was served at 7:30am and then Daniel picked us up at 8:00am. It was a very interesting drive through the busy city of Santo Domingo. We got to the school at 8:45 and put our work gloves on and continued our work on the walls.

The school was open today so we got to meet some of the children and teachers. After lunch we went for a short walk around the village by the school. The children of the village love to walk along with us and show us around and go in pictures with us. We worked till 4:00pm and came back to the center and showered and then we were served once again a delicious supper. After dinner we did devotions and had a team discussion. Later that night we went to town to Carrefour (the mall) and looked around and had ice cream. We came back to the mission center and relaxed and chatted and then we went to bed.
