Day 8

Good evening! We started our day with the usual wakeup call, a bang on the door at 7:00am. We had breakfast at 7:30am and most were ready to go by 8:00am but theres always a few straglers!! We got to the school at around 9:00am and continued with our block laying and rebar cages.

Today was very noisy because all the children are finally back from their holidays. It was great to see so many kids and teachers! They served us a great lunch once again and at afternoon coffee we were treated to icecream! By 4:30pm we were on our way back to the mission center for a much needed shower and arrived to no running water.. We were 10 sweaty, sad looking people for about an hour. Its amazing how excited you can be about a cold trickle of water. We finally showered and had some yummy dinner and then we listened to a lecture on Providence. After the lecture we had a discussion and played some games and hit the hay. Goodnight!
