Day 7

Hello everyone back at home! Time is flying by here in the DR. We have only 3 more days left until we are back to Canada in the cold! Today was an adventurous day. We were up at 7:30am to go to church for 10. The service today was in Spanish! As much as it was hard to follow along with the sermon, it was a great experience. After church we went sightseeing. We went to the old colonial downtown Santo Domingo. This is where Christopher Columbus landed. We got a quick tour of a museum and then looked around at the rest. After a long day of a lot of walking we came back to the mission center to eat and have a relaxing Sunday evening. We are all just relaxing now and reading or playing games! Have a good night.
