Co-Impact Teams Litany

At EduDeo, we are deeply grateful for the churches who faithfully send teams to learn and serve alongside our global partners. Your willingness to release members of your congregation for this journey reflects a shared commitment to seeing Christ’s Kingdom flourish through Christ-centred education worldwide. As you send your Co‑Impact team, we offer this sending litany as a way to bless them, unite your congregation in purpose, and acknowledge the meaningful role they play in God’s ongoing work around the globe. 

Sending 

Pastor: Brothers and sisters in Christ, today we send out members of our community to join God’s work through EduDeo’s Co-Impact program. They go as partners ready to learn, to serve, and to build relationships with fellow image-bearers around the world. 

Congregation: We give thanks for this calling. We rejoice that God’s mission is shared across nations, cultures, and communities. 

Pastor: To you who go: you will work alongside local leaders, teachers, and labourers, those who know their communities and are developing schools where children can grow in wisdom and knowledge of the Lord. Do you go with humility, ready to listen, and ready to serve? 

Participant: I go with God’s help, ready to learn from my brothers and sisters, and ready to serve in love. 

Pastor: Do you commit to being attentive to God’s Spirit:  
to see Christ in each person you meet, 
to honor the gifts of the local community, 
and to allow this journey to shape you as much as it supports others? 

Participant: I do, and I ask God to open my heart, my mind, and my hands. 

Pastor: People of God, will you uphold these team members in prayer: 
for safety, for humility, for unity, 
for open hearts and teachable spirits, 
and for the flourishing of all who are part of EduDeo’s Co-Impact partnership? 

Congregation: We will. We promise to pray for them, encourage them, and welcome the transformation God will bring in and through them. 

Prayer

Pastor: Let us bless them as they go. 

Gracious God, 
You call your church to build your kingdom both near and far. 
As these servants go, 
grant them strength, compassion, and joy. 
Protect them in travel and in work. 
Let their presence honour the leaders and communities who welcome them. 
May they reflect the love of Christ in all they do and say. 

Congregation: Send them with your Spirit, O Lord. 
Make them instruments of peace, learners of wisdom, 
and bearers of your hope. 

Participant: Amen. Let it be so. 

Receiving 

Pastor: Welcome home! We are so grateful to see you back safely. We celebrate all that God has done in and through you during your Co-Impact journey, every relationship formed, every lesson learned, every act of service offered in love. As you return to our community, may you carry forward the stories, wisdom, and blessings you received.  

Congregation: We thank God for your faithful service and rejoice to welcome you home.
