Cissy teaches at a Christian school in a small village just north of Kampala, Uganda.

As the Head Teacher, her job is to support her fellow teachers and address any challenges they may face. And there was one challenge that kept coming up…

So many of their students had deep questions about Jesus, the Gospel, and their faith. But their teachers didn’t always know how to answer them, or how to bring Christ into their lessons.

That’s when you stepped up. Your love made it possible for Cissy to attend a workshop led by EduDeo and local partners that was designed to help teachers answer those tough questions and fully integrate the Gospel in their classrooms.

Cissy returned to her school refreshed and excited by what she’d learned. She quickly shared her learnings with her 25 fellow teachers.

By sending one teacher to this workshop, 26 teachers gained valuable tools for their classrooms. 26 teachers now feel confident to answer their student’s questions about faith. 26 teachers now know how to anchor their lessons in Christ’s truth... All because you supported one.

And that’s not even including all the students in those 26 classrooms that will benefit!

In Cissy’s words, “The long term effect is that this is going to draw [us] to Christ even more, to love God even more, and to serve Him even more.”
