Through your generosity, parents can learn how to create healthy, supportive homes

Cindy did her best to support her two children as they started at the local Christ-centred school in her Guatemalan neighbourhood.

But she didn’t know how.

In Guatemala, many neighbourhoods are controlled by violent gangs, which can normalize unhealthy and unsafe environments. This instability means that parents like Cindy don’t have all the tools they need to raise their children in Christ-centred homes.

She was determined to change the story for her own children. She jumped at the chance to join Parents Connected (Padres Conectados), a program provided by EduDeo’s partner in Guatemala.

It teaches parents how to break unhealthy cycles and support the healthy development of their children. But these programs can’t run without your support.

Without your care empowering them through these programs, parents like Cindy may not be able to learn how to remove harmful patterns in their homes.

After just a few sessions, Cindy has already learned about proper hygiene and child development. She’s excited to learn how to bring her family closer together and closer to Jesus.
