This post will cover days 4-6. Sunday was very different for us as we went to church in the village at 5 pm, so we had a long morning and afternoon before church. After breakfast we went for a walk through town to look at some nearby Mayan Ruins that we had heard of. The walk was a bit longer than we had expected and once again it was above 30, but we powered through. At these particular ruins we were able to actually go inside a few of the rooms. You will have to ask about Leo Hall Jr. When we get home...our impromptu tour guide..
The church service in the evening was a real blessing as we got the opportunity to worship with some of the people in the village. When we reflected later on we were humbled at how big the world is and yet people all over seek to worship the same God.
