Saturday...day off??

No, we worked today.  After a hard day of relaxing yesterday we returned to the worksite energized and raring to go.  Our contractors had gotten ahead of us so we had some catching up to do.  The sifters sifted, the pargers parged, Jack, with his apprentice Bernie got himself involved in some plumbing, and the day got short pretty fast.  We are getting along with each other better every day and even found ourselves joking with the local contractor and his labourers, who at first came across as a bit sullen.  As for catching up, we did that and more, finishing almost two full rooms in one day, compared to less than one our first day.

Now we look forward to some time spent this evening in devotions and conversation, but more to the Lord's Day, when we can worship Him in the company of other believers, though in a different language and culture.
