"What did you do this summer?"
Whether you're a student or a teacher, you've likely been asked this many times recently!
I always appreciate the question because it gives me an opportunity to talk about my trip to Malawi where I spent time interviewing, recording, filming, and discussing plans our next annual school campaign. It's called "The Warm Heart Project" and will support students with special needs and their teachers through one of our newest partners, CCAP Livingstonia. Find out more below!
That's only the beginning of the exciting things planned for this year. One of the best ways to stay informed is by subscribing to this e-newsletter. Since you've already done that, will you help us spread the word by forwarding this email to a colleague (or two)?
Blessings in this new school year!

September is about building community in your classroom. Cultivating a sense of belonging for students is important because building relationships goes hand-in-hand with academic success.
In Malawi, finding places of belonging for students with special needs is difficult. Over 70% of students with disabilities aren't in school at all. But our partners are working to change this.
This year we're inviting schools across Canada to support students with special needs in Malawi! Find out how by checking out the video below or by visiting our website: https://edudeo.com/warm-heart-project.
The Made to Thrive campaign came to a close at the end in July, and we're so excited to report that over $55,000 was raised by schools across Canada. Incredible!
We shared the thank-you video below with schools who supported the campaign in various ways and now we want to share it with all of you. I hope it's the inspiration you need to support the Warm Heart Project this year!

I'm excited to host seven high school students from across Canada for our Youth Summit from October 11-13. Special thanks to Abbotsford Christian School - Secondary Campus for sponsoring this event and providing partnership with Mathys de Blieck, a student in their Junior Residency program.
In addition, I hope to meet many of you this fall at the following conferences:
See you there!
