Our 5th day began with a very touching time as we prayed for a local couple with respect to their marriage challenges. It was a privilege to spend that time with them. As we were
leaving we spotted dolphins in the sea near the manse.
Monday was our first full day of work at Unity Presbyterian School. Several projects were started. We split into four teams and started parging interior walls, forming and pouring fence posts and setting up a new computer lab with 20 computers. It was such a privilege to interact with some of the 225 students at the school and meet some of the dedicated staff. We were reminded that Belize planning and timing and Canadian planning and timing are somewhat different. It was a little frustrating but a good start to our projects. It was very unfortunate for the group when Anthony had a mishap upon our return to the manse at the end of the working day. He jumped into the Caribbean Sea, landed on some rocks and tore some ligaments in his foot. Another great night of fellowship amongst our group!
