My Name is Steve Szostek. I am 48 years old. As far back as I can remember I have always known I have wanted to serve the Lord. Last year I went on a mission trip to Guatemala. It was the best experience of my life. Being able to build a structure to benefit others. It was a very humbling trip. I had never had the chance to visit another country before and witness for myself that people can survive on so little stuff. Basic things we take for granted daily. From that day on I knew that this was my calling. To serve others. God didn't place me in these peoples lives. He placed these people in my life. All I can hope is that I was a blessing to at least one person. I came back from that trip with more than I was able to give. The impact those people had on me was a life changing experience. I'm grateful for the opportunity God has given me to be able to serve. I look forward to this trip! I look forward to helping others who may be less fortunate then me. We are all Gods children and these people are my brothers and sisters in Christ. Where God calls me I will go.
