Day 4: Time To Worship

It's Sunday, time for church!

Lester and his family picked us up at 8:30am this morning for church. We got to meet his wife, son, and daughter. They are an amazing family.

We went to Lester's local church Iglesia Cristiana Verbo Guanacaste, which has two services on Sunday morning. We went to the 9am service which had about 250 people in attendance. As a team we all said we could feel the Lords presence in the place as soon as we walked in. The worship was in Spanish and it was so fun to experience church in another culture.

We truly felt like family when we walked into that church this morning, and we felt like it was a little taste of what heaven will be like.

The afternoon was spent at Hotely Rest Altamar Beach. The ocean here is very warm and we got to enjoy so time in the water. We rented quads on the beach and went for a ride along both ends of the beach. Supper was served at the beach.

These two days of getting to see this beautiful country has been amazing and we are so thankful for it. Tomorrow we are back at the school preparing the site for cement pouring on Wednesday.

Blessings,

Team Newfoundland
