We had a great day. Today was our cultural day where we took a day off from work and saw the culture around nicaragua. It was also beautiful weather for the day, with the sun shining and a nice breeze.
First off, we went to a pottery place where we bought a bunch of homemade pottery. It was great to see all the work that goes into it. Some of us even got to make the pottery.
Next, we went ziplining which was a very awesome experience. I was a little hesitant but it ended up bing very fun and not scary at all.
Then, we went on a boat tour to monkey island and met lucy the monkey. She came right on the boat and stole some crackers right out of my hand and crawled right on top of some of our legs.
Last, we went to a market in Masaya. Some of us bought some stuff from there.
All in all, today was a really fun day and we saw alot of the country although there was a LOT of driving.
