My fundraising story (Gilles Nault)

This is going to be my second trip as I went to Renacher school last year with the PK team. This year just like last year has been a humbling experience with regard to the fundraising. Sending emails out coworkers, past friends that I have lost touch with and my people I have crossed paths with. Reaching out to people to try and share the journey of these missions trips.

Our family recently decided to return to a church that we used to attend. I started to go to a men's bible study and shared the need with many of the men primarily reaching out to the men I used to know. Many of the men's have contributed without hesitation. One man today handed me some money folded up and said Gilles here is some money for your trip. I shared with one man that I needed a certain amount to get to my main goal and he took out a cheque for the amount I needed to reach the 100% mark.

Now that I am at 100% I reaching for whatever percentage that God chooses that I will reach. I look forward to sharing the blog entries with family and friends when we leave in just over a week.
