On the morning of the 5th day we took a bit of a detour. The school that was the location for the 2015 Promise Keepers EDU DEO team. The returning team members had a chance to see what had been done since they had completed their portion of the work. The team was quite amazed at what they had seen. What was once a courtyard full of construction material and dirt was now and area full of kids playing. There was still quite a bit of work to be done, but the school looked really good.
Once we arrived at our current site we started work on preparing for rebar and cement. We moved the gravel back to the areas that we took it from to help level the area. Move it out and then move it back in, oh well that's just the way it goes.
The rebar and all the prep work was complete, but the cement had yet to arrive by the time our day had come to an end. We waited a bit longer but had to head back to the camp as we were nearing supper time.
