Sunday

After a delicious breakfast we headed to the beach in Santo Domingo. The water was so refreshing. We could walk out quite a bit before it got to deep to walk. And after a little swim we were at an island. This evening we joined La Iglesia Christiana Reformada for their evening service. The music was lively and known by heart. They were no song books. There were children of all ages in the service from three months old and up. One little tyke came to us and Brianne and Jillian got to hold him for a bit. Franklin, our host, translated the sermon. We had Communion. The service was two hours long. In the heat!

We are so thankful for the hospitality shown us.
