We have arrived home safely and are grateful to have slept in our own beds once again!
As a team we have had an amazing experience. We worked very hard, alongside our Nicaraguan team mates, and as the days wore on we became friends, who communicated through non verbal means, lots of smiles and gestures, interspersed with attempts at Spanish. We would have been lost without Peter and Lester!!.
Spiritually we have all grown! We were blessed visiting schools we had worked on previously. We heard the testimony and excitement of the various principals as they shared their vision for their future plans for their schools and communities. Education + gospel = transformation
Now that we are home again, we pray that what we talked about in our devotions and what we experienced on our trip will only lead us to find further ways to be of service to our God!
To God be the Glory!
