Be not afraid for I go with you. Even though we are excited to go to Nicaragua, we also have some individual feelings of inadequacy and apprehension. Will I be able to do the job? Will I work well? Will I be a good Christian advocate? Will we function well as a team?At our Bible study last week we discussed the story found in Mark 7:45-52. The disciples were struggling in a boat on rough waters on the sea of Gallilee. The disiples were afraid, but as soon as Jesus climbed into their boat the waters calmed down . Jesus calmed the waters and their fears! He can do that for us as well! Dear Lord please go with us –be our only source of hope, strength and courage!
We also, discussed two up coming fundraisers and preparations for them. Our final Christmas meeting will be on Dec 12- 7pm. Excitement is growing and we are looking forward to working with Peter and Trudy again.
