Day Two – February 14, 2015 – Happy Valentine’s Day Walt
About 1000 concrete blocks and thirty lengths of 30’ rebar arrive at the school. They all need to be brought to the roof before the day is over so they do not go missing over the weekend. The pile of gravel for the concrete mixing also needs to be brought up. This is all done using the rope and pulley – Calvin and Walt got their workout. Phill, Flo, Luciano and Oscar mix mortar and set the block wall. John, Josh and Manuel continue to set the cap and pier forms and pour concrete. All have fun chasing the iguanas from their little homes in the block walls.
