Draytons Journey to Zambia had an awesome start. We met about a year ago, and one of our first decisions was, "where are we going to go" ? We had partnered with EduDeo when they were known as World Wide Christian Schools  since 2005, going every other year to the Dominican Republic. This year, we rated all of the available destinations, and surprisingly, we were lead to go to Zambia of all places. We wondered where that came from at the time. Our team leader, Sid Vanderveen, called Tim Bootsma and said that we were all led to choose Zambia for our next HANDS trip. Tim was silent for a moment, them told us that a number of weeks ago, the group EduDeo partners with in Zambia, the Church of Central Africa Presbyterian, called and said that they needed 3 teams. Tim was forced to admit that he had no teams available to go. Less than a month later, all 3 spots were filled, with Drayton being the third and final team. We took this as a clear message that God's hand was involved in our decision to go to Zambia. Indeed, we could see that in the generosity of the people who partnered with us in our fundraising efforts. We firmly belive God word when He says:

John 14:13-14

13 Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.
