The last 2 days have been great. Tiring, but great. After a bit of delay, we arrived at the school Tuesday morning, ready to begin our work. We started the day with a word of prayer. If more organizations started their day like this, this world would be a better place. While the local workers were getting organized for us, we began by moving piles of broken bricks out of the school rooms, in preparation for our work. The main part of our day stared with mixing cement (something most Edu Deo volunteers know about) for parging the walls. The school is constructed of sun baked brick's. If they are left in the open elements, they will soon crumble, so they are parged, or coated with a thin layer of cement for protection. It may look easy, but it isn't. We were all ready for a nice shower (no hot water) when we got back to the CCAP Guest house
