We had an exciting day of adventure on Saturday. we started the day off with a pottery lesson. Kristen and Matt then displayed their pottery talents for us. Our group then headed Malaya volcano for some zip-lining. Believe it or not some of us did go upside down on purpose. At a couple of stops we could see some monkeys in þe trees. it was an awesome way to experience God's creation from a completely different perspective. we then drove to Granada where we had a Canadian style meal (French fries with ketchup) and experience the locals in the market square.
A boat tour of Lake Nicaragua was next. After helping push our boat off the sandbar we were able to see the many islands and homes on numerous islands.
We then quickly drove up the volcano again to have a look inside. although it was very foggy from the active volcano, it allowed us to look in awe at God's awesome power. The volaco last erupted 400 years ago but is still an active volcano.
We then finished our day of adventure with pizza from Pizza Hut.
Although a 'day off' from our work, the group ad a whole was exhausted and ready for bed after our devotions which were led by Dan.
Looking forward to our church service this morning n
