Our first full day at Lundazi after a good nights rest and 48 hours of travel. After a good breakfast (Corné had four plates) we set off in the morning to Mphamba primary school but our first real duty was to visit the tribal chief of Mphamba. We gave our greetings and showed our respect for the chief and then headed back for our welcoming ceremony at the school. We were welcomed by the head teacher and his staff. It was a riveting morning of welcomes from students, teachers and the communities. There may have been a Vanderkooij and Vantil shuffle but we won't talk about that now. We sang we danced we ate and then we worked. It was a good day.
