I finally did it! I registered for the Road 2 Hope race on Nov 2nd, This is the first race I've ever entered, and I've been training for this since August. It's a 5km road race in Hamilton, and it's a fundraising event for Edudeo Ministries.
If you haven't heard of Edudeo, they are a Canadian, Christian mission organization serving children in developing countries by bringing education rooted in a Biblical worldview.
This upcoming race has been really helpful in keeping me motivated and training. And it's a great organization to support.
On average, it costs just $28 to improve education for one child. This year, EduDeo is running to build accessible classrooms at Msuzi Primary School in Zambia.
