Hello friends!
Thanks for taking the interest in opening and reading this!
I have never been much of a committed runner so I didn't imagine me doing this. The first time I did think about running a marathon I said to myself (and Sarah Watson, #shoutout) "I would love to just try and run one without any training".
I don't know if wisdom caught up with me or if I just got used to the idea of training and actually trying to run it well, but I have to say so far it's been surprisingly fun!
Now in the process of all this, I also stumbled on a good way to make this whole marathon thing more meaningful. You can briefly read about that below.
On November 4th we are running Road2Hope to give children in the developing world a quality, Christ-centred education through EduDeo Ministries. Many children in the developing world do not receive a quality education.
We want to help transform the lives of these children, by investing in their education and more importantly also introducing them to the amazing love of Jesus Christ.
On average, it costs just $28 to improve education for one child. This year, EduDeo is running to build classrooms at Primero Templo Biblica School in Nicaragua. Read more about that below by "my project".
