About Me

Team Vineland Free Reformed (My Team)

Hello, I'm a retired Christian school teacher who is cheerfully occupied with helping elderly neighbours, gardening, reading, supply teaching, Bible study, working at the local "Gleaners", baking, having others in for dinner and travelling.(near and far) I am a member of the Vineland Free Reformed church and was requested to join the HANDS team going to Zambia this fall because they were looking for an experienced traveller to go with them. I'm happy to join the adventure and pleased that they asked me. I hope to get to know these future church leaders better. Of course, building a dormitory to provide safety for young women so they can get an education is close to my heart! With the possibility of continuing their Christian education, I hope that Christ will enter/stay in their lives and that these young ladies in time, can make a difference in their families and culture! As part of this group I am expected to pay for my own transportation and lodging, but to fund raise for the materials so the dormitory can be built. To this end I am reqesting your support. Please prayerfully consider supporting the Vineland Zambian Hands Team. We hope to leave on October 31st and return mid November. Thank you in advance for your kind consideration.

The work being done is important. I am thankful that Diana was invited to be part of the group. She will be an asset. Because I am supporting a similar endeavour in Debra Zeit, Ethiopia I have decided to not donate to this fine project. Diana is aware of my interest and understands why this is not receiving support.

Sincerely, Dorothy.

May God bless you in this endeavor. I am looking forward to hearing about your experiences!
