I am married to my husband Jack for 48 years and have 4 children and 9 grandchildren. I am a retired R.P.N. and worked at Shalom Manor for 30 yrs. I volunteer 1 day a week at Shalom. I am also a member of the Lioness. My husband and I went to Apollo Bolivia for 4 1/2 months through Service Link in Burlington. I taught English to several people. Helped with starting a craft club. Did some sewing for the preschool Center and I helped a veterinarian. I also drew pictures and painted a cement slide for the preschoolers. Taught first aid at the preschool for the teachers and helped out were I was needed. I enjoyed what we were doing there and always wanted to continue doing some more mission work. When this opportunity arose I thought that I would like to offer my services . I know that the Lord has given me this opportunity to serve Him.
