Hello, My name is Simon Hordyk, I am 24 years old and live in Beamsville, Ontario. Since I was much younger, I have always loved working with my hands, on various projects that involve various skill sets, including design, construction using wood, metal and other materials, art work, and electronics. Over the years I have used and developed these talents that God has graciously given me to serve Him and glorify His Name, and to show the love of Christ by giving my time, energy, and talents for the benefit of others. These short term mission trips are excellent opportunities for me to show this love in a different and more impactful manner, while initiating and building relationships with brothers and sisters of a different culture, language, and place. It is my prayer that I will be able to participate in this experience so that ultimately God's Name may be glorified, and that my faith may be nourished as I live to serve Him.
