Act Five
Co-leader
Hi! My name is Dena and I am a mother to 3 beautiful children, Jaime, Shanika and Caitlin; and a wife to my husband Steven, for 31 years. I just finished serving on the St. Clair Community Church Leadership Team (church plant from Grindstone) and am working on completing my Masters in Theological Studies at McMaster Divinity College. My background is in health care, working many years at Hamilton Health Sciences. I completed my Masters in Public Health at the University of Waterloo in 2015, after being inspired by serving with an organization called Save the Mothers, in East Africa. There, I witnessed first hand the impact that Christian education has on providing hope, empowerment and the ability to mobilize indigenous leaders. I am looking forward to learning and contributing along with other Act Five members, and seeing the impact that Edudeo brings through their HANDS program in Zambia.
