Promise Keepers
Pena de Horeb is growing and currently we serve 218 students in very crowded classrooms. Due to the lack of space, this negatively impacts the quality of education that we have and places our students in a disadvantaged position. Recently, the Ministry of Education is requiring it to switch from half day schooling into all day schooling for all grades and classes. Pena de Horeb does not have enough classrooms to do implement this and has decided to embark into a significant remodeling and expansion project. The work has started with the construction of the second pavilion with the first lower 4 classrooms, two of these will be completed during this school year with the support that we have managed to raise locally and with other donors. We hope to get at least 4 new additional classrooms built in the next school year. With EduDeo’s support and partnership with Promise Keepers, Pena de Horeb looks forward to providing quality education for not only this generation, but for generations to come!
