About this Project

MBEU DEO (Seed for God) Course #3 is the culminating course of three 2-week summer courses for CCAP teacher education students. The program is centred on Teaching for Transformation and thoroughly immerses students in teaching and learning with a Biblical worldview for CCAP schools.

MBEU DEO Course #3 focuses on:

  • what are the key aspects of Teaching for Transformation and how do they interconnect?
  • what does a Teaching for Transformation lesson look like?
  • what is community?
  • how is a Christian classroom a place for Learning as well as a place of Caring?
  • how can the Christian classroom be a place for redemptive living?
  • as we build community, what are some best practices for discipling the students in our classrooms?
  • how can we assess and evaluate learning in a Biblically consistent way?

These students completed Course #2 in August 2015 and Course #1 in August 2014. They are also currently enrolled in Zambian teacher colleges and when they graduate they will be fully qualified according to the Ministry of Education standards as well as CCAP’s vision for education.

HI Kennedy,

Thank you for your interest in the Mbeu Deo course. This is a course offered to teachers desiring to learn how to better integrate a biblical world view into the classroom. This course has 3 annual modules made up of 2 week sessions and is offered by EduDeo's partner in Zambia the Education Department of the Church of Central Africa Presbyterian Synod of Zambia.

I hope some of your teachers may be selected from applicants during the next intake.
