This is the first blog of the Smithville Nicaragua HANDS team.
We would like to announce our upcoming "Barn Banquet Pig Roast", to be held at the farm of Adrian and Jane VanderWier, 6264 Concession # 4, Smithville, ON. Reservations can be made by contacting Henry Lunshof, team leader, at lunshof@talkwireless.ca, or 905-957-2202.
There will be Christian entertainment as well as a silent auction. This has become a much anticipated annual event. So please come out and support our team and enjoy Christian fellowship too!
We much look forward to going back to Nicaragua after an absence of almost 5 years.
The team will be leaving for Nicaragua on January 3, 2012.
The Pig Roast was a great success! We raised almost $10,000.00
Plus..we had a great time putting it on.
