Getting Closer!

The Girls on a Mission have been working hard to make the most of our time in preparation for our trip early in the new year. Our fundraising has been challenging but we are so thankful for the people that are supporting our trip and the work at EduDeo!

Some of us have been raking leaves, making jewelry or Christmas cards, knitting clothes, baking delights, selling wreaths or succulents, and we still have plans to do more to raise the money. If you are excited about the girls going on a mission, please continue to support us! We’re not at our goal yet. We know God always provides and for that we are very grateful.

As we prepare for our trip we are mindful that we will be working close together for a week in the D.R so we have been doing some team building. We have had some informative meetings and fellowship but on Friday evening we also had some fun bowling. Some of us could hit the strikes easily and for some of us it was a humbling experience to watch the ball go in the gutter repeatedly.

We hope to keep blogging! We ask for your prayers as we get ready to love and serve in the D.R. Till next time...
