After a cool night and a good sleep, we woke up to a beautiful morning. We enjoyed breakfast together, and we were on our way to work at the school. We were greeted by the principal of the school, and he welcomed us and opened in prayer. There was alot of activity at the school, from welding, to painting, to digging holes for concrete supports for the second floor, to removing the dirt, and work on the second floor, preparing for the second storey. Enjoyed a lunch hour with all the workers and afterwards a fun game of soccer out in the street with the neighborhood kids. The sun was hot mid afternoon, but overall accomplished alot on our first day. We were very thankful to the Lord for the safety on the job site, and the fellowship we could share.
