Looking Forward ...

Gateway Christian School feels blessed to be able to send our second HANDS Team to Nicaragua!  It is with great excitement and anticipation that we look forward to April of 2012!  
After much prayerful consideration, we have a new team compiled for this year ... and we are very excited!  We plan to have 6 students and 3 adults traveling to Nicaragua during our Spring Break, leaving on April 9th and returning on April 18th.

We know that we have a great deal of work and preparation ahead of us to raise the funds that are needed for such a trip, as well as to prepare spirtually, mentally and physically for this experience.  We would ask that you join us in praying for team unity, for safety as we travel, and for God to use us and speak into each of us through this experience.

Our first fundraiser took place last spring, with a pancake breakfast on the morning of our school Field Day.  We are now running our fall "Change For Change" campaign, where we have sent home a pencil case to each family in the Gateway Christian School community.  We have asked families to support us in prayer, and to prayerfully consider filling the pencil case with coins or with a donation towards our team fundraising efforts.  The "Change for Change" campaign will come to an end on December 5th, 2011.
