A Day of Rest

I lift my eyes up to the mountains, where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth (Psalm 121:1,2)

Today we had the opportunity to visit Manuel’s community and spend the afternoon with his family at his uncle’s land.  There was a lagoon for swimming and famous Orange Walk tacos for lunch.  Pass the hot tomale sauce! We see God in his creation and in the faces of his people.  Later we had the privilege of worshipping in the Community church that adjoins the school.  And we have just finished our evening with devotions outside on the front porch, with the sound of the waves lapping against the shore and the cool breeze blowing across our faces.
