The Belize Senior's Trip

Why would we go to Belize?

Here's 5 reasons I have thought of (and you may have more):

1) Witness God gathering His church abroad

2) Experience another culture

3) Form new relationships

4) Share time and resources

5) Strengthen your faith and trust watching and experiencing what God can and will do.

EduDeo also has summarized a few 'Why' points in the past:

You may or may not have supported children, grand children, friends or other familiy members on mission trips in the past.  Well now it is your turn.  This trip is to an English speaking country (they speak Spanish too) where the tasks at hand will also be curtailed to you, the beloved seniors in our lives.

Some of work will include:

  • Painting inside and outside of school building
  • Construction of Preschool playground(pine lumber)
  • Construct a Bathroom for Preschoolers
  • Maintenance work outdoor and indoor
  • Library work
  • Filing
  • Tutoring

You are invited to join a trip that will bless you immensely.

How did the idea come about to do a senior's specific trip?  Well from a good senior friend of mine who simply asked if it might be possible if he (and maybe his wife) could also go on a mission trip.  Having been to Belize already I asked the brothers there plus I inquired at EduDeo and all the doors opened to make this possible.

So if you feel that this is the time, prayerfully consider this trip.  You will bless and be blessed.

Sincerely,  Mark Wanders, team leader
