Today was an outing day. We were on our way, on foot, by 7:30 to catch the water taxi to San Pedro Island a 1 ½ hour ride. We boarded another boat with experienced snorkelling guides who took us to Hol Chan Marine reserve reef. We were amazed at what we saw Manta Rays, Snapper, Sting Rays, Angel Fish, Barracuda, Moray Eels, SHARKS! And the most beautiful coral. We enjoyed burgers & fries for lunch. Then the team took in the sights around San Pedro including some of the ladies renting a golf cart to ride around the island. We were home again by 6pm where another delicious dinner was waiting for us. We ended the night by sharing our favourite moments from the trip.
Pastor and Mrs. Betson have been amazing hosts. We will leave here tomorrow with great memories of the school, church and Pastor Betson and his vision in Belize.
