HANDS Team Blog

The photo above is a picture of the pre-school building our HANDS Team will be working on throughout our time in Nicaragua. The money raised will help to continue the construction.

Update

The sun is out, spring is here, and the HANDS Team has been pushing hard with spring clean up. This has been a wonderful way to raise money for the school construction.

Thank you to all who have helped us in our fundraising efforts. Only a little more than a month until Nicaragua!

It promises to be a very eye opening experience.

I saw a video montage on Facebook this morning that broke down the population of the world as if it were 100 people. It mentioned that 12 out 100 live on $2 US a day or less. Many in Nicaragua fall into this category, and as I've been told recently Managua is not a tourist hub. It's raw. It's gruff. It's real life in Nicaragua.

Pray that we will be a blessing and be blessed in our interactions with the school community of Centro Educativo Emanuel II. (Yes, we recently recieved news our site was changed. Nearby community, different school)
