Day 6 - by Benjamin

Today was another really great day, and we did quite some hard work, despite the fact that we only worked until noon, which was when the real fun began.

The stronger guys carried cinder blocks off of trucks that were shipped to the jobsite just after we hammered the walls for about an hour to make it smooth…

Then we got to disperse to some of the classrooms, and the really young kids from maybe grade 1 or kindergarten were apparently waiting all week to see us, and we read to them and played soccer, duck duck goose, and salt and pepper.

After work we also got cards from the grade eight students who saw us working hard and let us know that they appreciate our work.

A few of us got to play in a big match of soccer with lots of kids from the town on the very bumpy field which was a lot of fun. And I finally got burned :-(

To end the evening the group is getting to know each other better with a few hours just to ourselves to tell each other about ourselves.

So overall it was another good day which was not over-eventful with good work and the afternoon to relax and have a really good time :-)
