FINAL FLIGHT TO MANAGUA

FINAL FLIGHT TO MANAGUA!

Our layover in Houston was realxed and easy … we were thankful that our time through Customs was quick painless.  Our second flight included a lot of napping and resting from the travel.
Upon arrival in Nicaragua we discovered that our guitar was missing from our luggage.  Only a few hours later, we received a call saying that it had been found … what a blessing that everything has gone so well during our travels here!

It turns out that even our contacts in Nicaragua were shocked to find out that our flight schedule was changed … none of us knew!  Since they also have a HANDS team here from Abbottsford Christian School, the early arrival meant that they had to rearrange for our arrival in Managua.  Thankfully, the schedules coordinated in a manner where they were able to pick us up, arrange for lunch and supper for us, and allow us to settle into the guest house.  Although the confusion was somewhat of a panic for everyone involved, we are so thankful and blessed that everything has gone smoothly and we have arrived safely!  In our time of evening devotions we were already able to reflect on just how God works, and how blessed we feel to be here!   We know that there could be more challenges ahead of us throughout our trip, but we have seen firsthand that God is in control, and that He is taking care of us every step of the way!  …. We know that it is all part of the adventure that He has in store for us!
